I distinctly remember being relieved when first seeing it, as it was the first time they had really made a decent model for Charizard for mainline/mainline adjacent games. We had been stuck with the shitty Stadium model/rigging for years at that point.
I think the newer model could use a sliiiightly bigger head, but I appreciate that it's limbs are much more flexible, it's legs in particular. Main contention seems to come from its face and eyes, but Charizard's been depicted in several different ways, so I'm not too bothered by either.
