Yellow and the gen 4 games just swap your position with your pokemon's which is the very obviously best thing to do, BDSP applies collision effects for some fucking reason so you just end up being slowed down and having to push it into a wall so it depops and respawns, this is fucking retarded and so is their speed not matching your own, i sure enjoy having a "following partner" feature where 90% of the pokemon can't follow me.
Oh, and of course they use their in battle models instead of the chibi art style everything else in the overworld is using.
