no loading screen gates is a retarded thing to criticize because real loading screens weren't even a thing in Pokemon until gen 7. unless you have a problem with the screen fading to black for a millisecond which was present in older games?

I remember looking at the Hoenn map and obsessing over what there was in those out of bound islands, or in those out of bounds forest areas.
At least ORAS kinda scratched that itch with the random areas you can find while flying.
