it's harder than every other game outside of USUM because of the turn system and the fact that the damage calculation makes underleveled pokemon still a threat

its also mad easy to get KOs in return. PLA's difficulty is basically endless win trading with occasional free double turns. Its not hard, it just has a different flow that involves mons fainting more because there is less skill expression
