How can I reinvigorate my love for Pokemon?
I grew up playing Pokemon, when I was in grade school even my teachers knew me as the Pokemon kid. When I was ten, I remember watching an episode at 7 before school and thinking to myself "I know things are going to change when I get older, adults dont like kid stuff, but Im never gonna stop loving Pokemon, I promise myself"
Only now, in the 2 or 3 years, I can no longer find any love for it. I mean, I still love it, but I've played and replayed every pre-switch entry in the series multiple times, some even dozens of times.
I can't love the new generations. It's not a nostalgia block, I generally enjoy them, but they don't capture that love and endless replayability they used to have. I still haven't even finished Scarlet.
What do I do? I can't let down my childhood self, but I can't pull any more joy from what we've already had.
