So when gen 6 remakes come around, we know Megas will return. Question is, which mons outside of certain starters and shillmons will get them? Anyone wanna place bets?

Part of me wants XY remakes without megas. Just have gamefreak double down on that decision, and leave us with the bare-bones Kalos without it's star gimmick.

Something tells me they wouldn't make any knew ones for a remake. At most, maybe they'll add the ORAS Megas in to XY remake.

And Avalugg, needs a buff more than any of these to make up for the Hisui form having a bad type

If you don't use megas on your team at all you only encounter them three times in total throughout the story anyway:
>1. Korrina's unavoidable pitbull dogfight
>2. Lysandre's go-go-gadget Gyarados revenge match
>3. Diantha's last stand
And if you include postgame, then you also have
>4. Calem/Serena's Absol advancement
That's literally it. Not even trainers in the Battle Maison will use them. Storymode megaspam ramped up far more in ORAS.

nah, ORAS still has megas just for the evil team leader, champion, and post-champion rival fight. they just seem more prominent because you can get more than, what, four mega stones? during the story.
