Bullshit. Everyone over 30 who's watched the anime has heard of or seen all of these characters. Plenty of people who have never seen the anime have too, since their kids watched it.

I liked how Butch and Cassidy were just perfectly normal coworkers that stayed in good terms after quitting TR and didn't have this silly co-dependence thing that the Trio does.
