Cassius the Pignite
Rosemary the Roserade
Suzie the Swoobat
Tron the Magneton (In-game trade)

Douglas the Drilbur is just a Cut HM slave

Just about to fight Roxie

I want to add a Water type team member after I beat Roxie. I'm thinking Azumarill, Kingdra or Jellicent. Does anyone know if Azumarill's stats were buffed since it doesn't have Huge Power? Also considering replacing Swoobat.

This is probably gonna turn into a very unoriginal team because I’m gonna use the three starters. That’s like the whole point of this game over RB. Yellow is like the only game where the generic team meme is actually true

Yeah I do the same when I play Yellow. Team is always Pikachu, Pidgeot, Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise and Snorlax. I play through Yellow once a year just for nostalgia purposes.

Run update: I decided to go for Kingdra as my Water type member, since I've never used the Horsea line before and it looks like a decent mixed attacker (also being able to actually evolve one without trading is a plus)

I found the base stats for all the Pokemon on Github and Azumarill has its stats unchanged which means its still garbage despite the added Fairy typing

Probably gonna replace Swoobat with Archeops too

Finishing up Teal Mask in Violet before the next DLC comes out. I really wanted Phione to have Take Heart by the end, but I don't think that's going to happen. I just have the Kieran & Ogrepon fights left.

About to fight the Pokemon League in Pokemon Gaia
Despite being an older ROM hack and still having some outdated things like necessitating HMs (there's eight of 'em too), this has been pretty fun
Harder than a vanilla game, but not excruciatingly so, just difficult enough

If you're willing to put up with the HM stuff (either by raising Pokemon that can learn the HM moves and just slotting them in, or just by carrying a weak mon or two solely for HM use) then absolutely
It is also missing some Pokemon and some items, including Gallade and Gengar's own Mega Stones, but every boss from mid to endgame has a Mega, and I had to give some of the fights at least a little bit of thought
The villainous team leader had a pretty interesting final fight especially, it was two fights back-to-back

my team for the indigo disk. im kinda unsure of movesets as well as how well they mesh as a doubles based team. legendaries aside, these 4 were ones i used for the rest of the main story.
i admittedly lowered them all back down to 90 for some extra challenge.
advice on movesets and spreads for them to go better with eachother?

based hoenn fossil user. the fruit theme naming is cute too
delcatty has also been surprisingly useful, fake out & fast sing/attract has rnghaxed a LOT of otherwise tough fights. only problem is his only (non-FO) attacking move is doubleslap which even on the rare five hits hits like a wet pool noodle
part of the reason i wish campaign was doubles (or even better, full party battles) is that you can more viably run supportmons
