>>55031750>>55031787Reminder that Johto starters were intentionally designed to lame nerfed bargain bin versions of Kanto starters that would be hated to make the Kanto starters look better, but Game Freak being Game Freak was so utterly incompetent that some people actually like them so Game Freak doubled down and gimped Typhlosion and Gatr as much as possible so they could make them look as unimpressive as possible (reminder that this was the same generation Kanto and Hoeen starters got super saiyan forms so the contrast would be even greater), Meganium “lucked”out because years of Meganium bad memes have done a better job at getting people to hate it than Game Freak ever could.
