Graphics look nice but it's a boring art style. Legends looks "worse" but has a more distinct and unique style.
Following and ride Pokemon are nicely done agreed.
Kanto music is boring.
Catching mechanics are bad and way better in Legends
Again shiny hunting is better in PLA and SV
Megas are an awful mechanic
Every Switch game has regional variants and they don't lock you out of crossgen evos for no reason
Those characters are relegated to NPCs for no reason instead of being the MCs like in the original games
E4 and gym leader rematches are expected features of every Pokemon game
Master trainers are tedious slogs
Customisation is very limited and way worse than SWSH or even SV
Cool I guess

The only redeeming features of this game are looking nice and having your own ride Pokémon
Every other positive point you can attribute it was done better in another game or they're due to Kanto's good game design

I'll give it the art style being better than what we've got recently (still isn't perfect and looks kinda generic), music is decent, riding Pokemon was cool I guess. Other than that, that's all I'd give it.

I honestly feel like no one played it, I don't know anyone with the game.

LGPE is actually the best selling game of all remakes/Third versions/Sequels.

I love all that but they messed up by not offering a setting in the menu for traditional catching and wild battles. I wish they had just kept that art style and made it better instead of dropping it.
