They're not. Most players are used to single battles. Doubles requires a different level of strategies, and the battles themselves take a lot longer. This was the same thing that happened with XD (inb4 >XD) and coliseum. Those games took me forever to clear because the battles were just so different.

Teal mask is laughably bad, and indigo disk is simultaneously bloated and padded, but also empty. The only good parts of indigo disk are rematches, which have never been removed from the base game and sold back for $35 before.

First dlc was inspired by sinnoh, so it's fantastic, best part of gen 9
