I've been trying to say it but no one cares. I'm not saying don't discuss it but at least acknowledge that Game Freak don't ice a fuck about lore because they literally can't. They have barely enough time to develop the game, let alone add small details to the story and tie up potholes. The games will be like this forever, it will probably even get worse as they are moving to open world and eventually 4K development on Switch 2 so they will have even less time to make sure the story is consistent within itself. Just how game development is these days.

I was even ok with the whole timeline thing and we even had a Looker mystery but it didn't go anywhere like always.

See I was okay with seperate timelines, with the remakes and originals being the only ones. USUM convoluted everything with bad ending alternate timelines, Necrozma being vague either as a victim or a real villain, etc.

Or you can be a normal person and try to reconcile everything without removing anything. Thus, magnemite is from space (never once stated to be manmade) and the beasts only got their current looks after the tower fell. These aren’t even massive changes to the way we look at the pokeworld, yet you seem to be struggling.

It was never said in the games that the beasts were CREATED by Ho-oh, just resurrected. They could have been the same Pokemon before they died. In fact, the Pokedex contradicts that theory:
>Entei: It is said that one is born every time a new volcano appears.
>Raikou: They say that it descended with lightning.
>Suicune: Said to be the reincarnation of north winds.
And considering multiple of each exist, both in the games and the anime, it doesn't really make sense that their entire species was created wholesale by Ho-oh anyway.

I don't know where you're even getting the thing about Magnemite being tied to human progress, I can't find that being said anywhere.

So basically this is just fanon that was accepted by fans and never actually confirmed in the first place. There's nothing to retcon.
