Because the DLC takes place long enough after BW2 for several of the adults to have children in the like 10-15 year old range, clearly the school didn’t exist until sometime after BW2 but before SV.

Because the pokemon games canonical take place in a multiverse so literally any variation or change in the Canon can be justified with that. Scarlet and Violet can just take place in a universe where original B/W isn't the same Canon dumb dumb
