I felt like it was a bit underwhelming for such a big build up story wise, didn't explain much of anything really.
I feel the dex could've been a bit bigger even if it was just repeats of what was in base game and Teal Mask, especially for the water parts, seeing Horsea and Alomomola (ocean themed pokemon) in the mountainous biome took me out of immersion a bit and didn't really fit the vibe.
Starters being locked behind BBQ was honestly such a shit idea considering it takes so long to build up the points, needing 12000 points when most quests give like 10-30 points, you finish the DLC before even getting close to getting them, so makes them kinda pointless being in the game at all.
Characters were great though,I feel like they've been focusing more on the human characters more than the actual story and pokemon though.
