You use an electric move and get the boost. The "electric power up" is gone. If you use the same electric move or any other electric move, you won't get the boost anymore. However, you can still have up to 3 other type boosts. So you could, say, use a grass, a rock and a ghost move in sequence, and all three would get boosted. After that, no other move will get boosted, because you used all of your 4 power ups.
