>>55056573Honestly with how cold Drayton acted in this scene I thought it was going to play out like the following-
Kieran before Kitakami:
>Drayton bullied Kieran all the time when the others weren't around>the others couldn't say anything because they had no proof and Kieran wouldn't say anything because he was too scared>couldn't tell his sister because his sister also treated him like shit Which is backed up by:
>the whole manipulation thing to get you in the BB League>the BBE4 dialogue always how Drayton was a schemer/hiding stuffKieran during Kitakami:
>afraid of his own shadow but finally away from Drayton>finally makes a friend, starts to come out of his shell>only to find out that (you) the only person to be genuinely nice to him and give him the time of day is going behind his back with his sister and lying to him>the Ogre he's always admired doesn't acknowledge him>(you) then capture the Ogre>*snaps* Joker Mode ActivatedBack at BBA before you arrive:
>completely shit stomps Drayton and starts bullying everyone like how Drayton did to him>also obsessed with power thanks to youYou arrive at BBA:
>Drayton secretly pissed at him enlists your help to get back at him.>OP pic is basically Drayton telling him "you're my bitch again">Indigo Disk proceeds as normally.>After he goes back to being a "good guy" you see him getting pushed around by Drayton>Indigo Disk postgame is about expanding on your friendship with Kieran and getting him to stand up for himself.>Kieran says you can't tell Carmine (A flip on the dynamic at Kitakami)>The end has Kieran standing up for himself, Drayton not being a dick. Everyone making nice because it's a kids games.>Kieran and Carmine make a promise to stop hiding things from each other. Seriously, all that build up only to be fixed by 1 battle with him and a trek down Area Zero.
I dunno, just feels like his redemption/character arc was cut short at some point.
