>>55062080>Ok but why did literally everything point in the direction of Kieran being influenced by it?There wasn't really. I avoided leaks and played Teal Mask in full before going on-line, and it looked like Kieran just went off the deep end because of the whole Ogerpon and being lied to/being seen as weak thing. It's only when I came to /vp/ that people started calling me stupid for not knowing he was being manipulated by Dokutaro.
It's just like the imagination theory thing, the game never points to anything but time travel but autists on-line take inconsistencies, spin an entire alternate theory on it and then become convinced its true. Only Kieran's arc works without evil peach magic while the time travel, as usual, has some holes so it's more understandable people tried to look deeper.
That said, I don't think he being nudged by Dokutaro is out of the realm of possibility because Dokutaro is lurking in the background in the scene Kieran is lied to right before he starts acting shady, but there was never any implication he was under direct influence. He doesn't get stronger due to outside influence, it's due to obsession. While the Loyal Three specifically got their power from the Toxic Chains they got from Pecharunt.
