Granted, I do hate seeing the super limited Pokémon pools of higher tiers, but for a super hard NPC I would've accepted shit like Conkeldurr, Hydreigon, Volcarona, Excadrill etc. Even if they insisted on having the starters, they could've still have all of those minus Volcarona to avoid double Fire, and it would've been a lot tougher team to handle.
