Gen 4 barely got preference in SHSW, and the only hint to gen 4 remakes was the fact that the regional SHSW dex had so few Sinnoh mons
The same applies for gen 3, that apart from the Torchic event in XY didn't really get any personal treatment
Now compare that to the overabundance of gen 5 references in this DLC, and it should be really clear the developers are just teasing us. Also, we just got remixes to the wild battle theme, rare encounter battle theme, trainer battle theme and legendary battle theme, I find it unlikely they would remix these songs again less than one year later
I'm expecting Legends Johto next year
