all types get a tera stab boost once
if you stella tera'd and used surf next time you use surf it won't get a tera stab boost same goes for hydro pump because it is the same type as surf, but you will still have a one time stab boost for anyother type your tera stella mon is running.
Tera stella type move is super effective against tera'd mons only, but the only moves that are terra stellar are tera blast and turtle's signature move once tera stella'd and hits everything else neutral.
The former drops your atk and sp.atk by one stage if used when tera stella'd.
Contrary mons luke serperior can abuse this.
Defensively you will still have the same weaknesses and resistances as your original typing when tera stellar'd.
