They've been opening up to Pokémon antagonists as of late after all the "Pokémon can't be bad BS", so what would you want to see from a proper Pokémon antagonist in a future game?

I automatically think of a pokemon rebelling against its "owners" after being in an abusive relationship or just being abused by humans in general.

Its become so jaded on humanity and radicallized that it cant really convinced otherwise.

Might be cliche but I think it could work again.

I’m sad that the possibility of the first Pokémon movie being about Pokémon rebelling against humans and ash’s pikachu being their leader never came to be. So I’d like to see a game where Pokémon are tired of being caught and used for battle and they all collectively rebel against trainers. And your own team would be the climax battle while you use the one Pokémon who decides they’re loyal to you

It's a special event that needs an item to trigger, and they haven't distributed it officially yet. Emulatorfags have managed to clear it, but we probably aren't getting it for real until sometime between New Year's and Pokemon Day.

They got it right the first time. Gary wasn't evil and he wasn't using his Pokemon to do evil things. He was just a smug asshole who frequently showed up to rub it in your face how he's constantly one step ahead of you. Pokemon doesn't need a villain, it just needs someone who makes you want to be better than them.

I don't know how long it is, but there actually is a full event with Nemona and crew from the base game showing up in Kitakami and the whole town getting brainwashed into being voodoo zombies by eating cursed mochi. You and Kieran team up to fight Pecharunt and save everyone.

Pecharunt is this gen's mythical, and they are doing it like the old gens where they lock it behind an item that they'll distribute.
It's actually a full length sidequest here it tries to zombify all of Kitakami.
Considering how relevant Mochi is to the quest, I assume they'll distribute the item on January 1st, since it's a special cake that the Japanese make to celebrate New Years.
