>>55091591Currently Ogerpon is an individual, a character, and not a species. So giving her specific human traits, clothing, a history, and all that jazz makes sense and works. She isn't AN Ogerpon, but THE Ogerpon, and has had a life that's influenced and changed her. Other members of Ogerpon's species might or might not wear a coat but definitely don't have masks, they'd be different. There's no issue right now, but what WILL be an issue is in future gens where we get more Ogerpons and every single one of them is going to be just like the individual, unique Ogerpon from Kitakami, which completely violates the writing in service of laziness.
