The professor used to care for Arven, and even the AI, which has all of the prof's memories, was surprised that the professor was so obsessed. We know that GameFreak most likely at least intended at some point for Kieran to have been influenced by Pecharunt

Is it possible that after the meeting with the MC, the professor went to Kitakami to check if there were any clues to the Raidon, passed by Pecharunt who amplified their desires and caused them to become obsessed, with the AI not sharing the obsession due to the influence of Pecharunt not being copied to the AI?

You seem to think people are arguing that the chains = the same type of control as the mochi. I'm trying to point out that the peach has different ways of controlling people/pokemon that isn't just brainwashing them with mochi. Giving a Pokemon what it wants, in return for shackling it IS control. Yes the Pokemon can still act on it's own, but ultimately it's going to follow the orders Pecharunt gives it because it knows the consequences of not doing that.
I will give you that we don't know how much control pecharunt actually has on them, as we can't understand the loyal three when they're talking with each other and they're just regular pokemon when you catch them.

At most, it's time and space being violated. At minimum, space (there is the idea of realities being temporarily offset, so say the 1900's are at the same time as another world's 2000's, meaning no time travel even though it seems like it. Multiverse shit always over complicates crap)

They do, actually. You can physically manifest items and pokemon from the Dream World and Dream Radar both in fact, so it is as real and possible as it gets. Since Terapagos uses energy as its source of power, its not farfetched to be able to achieve a similar feat to the entralink, especially in such a short space and time, since the encounter takes place within a limited space in a very short period of time.

Pecharunt influencing the professor would actually fit with imagination + dokutaro was actually a mutated glimmora with corrupted by poison powers who wanted to hijack Terapagos for true unlimited power. Influencing the professor for them to drag out Terapagos? Makes sense that way. Turning the loyal three into mooks to steal the masks which have a fraction of terapagos power? Makes sense that way. Turning Kieran into a super powerful mook to then send to fuck up terapagos shit? Makes sense that way.
But now he's just a fucking asshole who was fucking up shit for the sake of it and that's that. Just another trickster mythocal who causes mayhem just because. And that's kind of lame to tack on on the professor.

Unironically for the lols, there was no deep motivation behind gifting the Loyal 3 their powers, they were evil at heart
Kieran also had darkness in his heart, all Peacharunt did was slightly fuel his drive to become stronger, you could see his team taking leaps in terms of power in such a short period of time during Kitakami already, this was the real reason why Ogerpon picked us over him too.
