I am unable to catch a single Pokemon in any other ball. Every single Pokemon no matter how difficult to catch is for this ball. Even if it's just for dex completion and stays in the box forever. Even if it's just for a BBQ and I'm releasing it right after. Any other anons have it this bad?

Beast ball is harder to catch mons with.
You dont know suffering till you tried catching a legendary in one

On one save, I always do matching balls and on other saves I go for all premier or all luxury balls. Luxury balls look especially nice in SV

for both of these DLCs ive insisted on making a premier ball living dex for the new mons. it makes the whole process a lot more fun (except the rush of starters at the end has been rough, maybe should have spaced them out)

next gen will do it in the base game, but might switch to smth a lil more underused like a dive ball or luxury ball

I like dusk balls. I haven't played an actual game in a few gens, do they still do cool animations for different ball types?

Yeah, in gen 7 they started making the particle effects for balls a lot more unique, especially on the harder to obtain balls such as the apricorn ball from johto. There are videos online of them if your interested.

I've got a living dex of all female HA Pokemon (unless male only) in luxury balls for breeding purposes. There are still a few things that I am unable to get in lux balls but with every game it gets closer and closer.
