>>55100936>be me>not that much into pokemon, still enjoy it when I play with friends though>never had an absolute favorite pokemon>decide to make a challenge run with best friend>we play the game normally but with each badge we have to fight each other>the idea is to have 10 battles, 8 gym leaders, 1 champion and the secret boss steven (all of this in emerald)>we are 3-1 or something like that>decided to take the game seriously>decided to go full autism and catch feebas knowing bloody well what i was getting into>not crazy stats according to me, just wanted in my team to brag about it>after hell, i finally have milotic>very defensive set, but still hits deceptively hard>milotic single handedly carries my ass in the next to fights, forcing my friend to also take the game seriously, more than i did>we end up with very disgusting teams>in the end, it ended up 5-4>decided to skip the last battle because we wanted to go to sinnoh already>i decide against it on the last second because i wanted to use the salamence that I so hardly trained>my friend clearly had a better team full of broken shit>milotic ended up giving me the victory once again as i used my friend arrogance against him>we ended up in a tie>i expected nothing of him and he became my mvp>now milotic is my favorite pokemonWe are now in Sinnoh, GOD, I HATE Sinnoh, however, right now I have what is posibly, my second favorite pokemon in my team, Gliscor, and now that I have both the snek and the bat in the team I dont care if I win or I lose, Im just having fun with them.
It took me 10+ years, but I think I can finally see why pokefags are so obssesed with this franchise, I think I finally get it.
