Fairy should be super effective against Rock type pokemon because rock is part of nature and nature is under the dominion of fairies.

No, rock should crush tiny fairies just like they crush bugs and also birds (just like fairies commonly are depicted with wings). And also because steel is super effective vs fairy so should rock

no but I think it should resist fairy.
This is on the basis that runes, crystals, salt, tombs etc. can be used against supernatural creatures.
In fact (somethng that I though about recently) if they didn't introduce steel, dark or fairy they could've made rock to balance against psychic & ghost.
