I beat Mt. Battle tonight, all 100 battles in one sitting on Japanese Colosseum! I even pulled off the incredible feat of beating Battlus/Infin/Inity (I don't remember which is which in the English version) with only a Flygon! (no kidding I beat his Kyogre with my Flygon!!!)

Battlus/Somek is the Mt.BattleMaster of the story mode, where trainer levels are set. Infin is the Mt.BattleMaster of battle mode singles, where the trainer's levels are set to the player's highest leveled Pokemon. Inity is the Mt.BattleMaster of battle mode doubles.

To get Ho-Oh you needed to have purified all 48 Pokemon and then cleared battle mode singles or doubles using your story mode team. So good job, anon.

Are you the same anon that got the celebi in the other thread? If you're up for another autistic gamecube related challenge, try getting a shiny jirachi from either the colo bonus disc or pal region pokemon channel.

Usually, but there's 2 ways around it. The first is the corruption method, where you intentionally corrupt your save to force a rollback to before claiming jirachi. The second is rng manip to make sure you don't fail the first time. I manipulated for a shiny from channel and it worked great. (though it still took about 48 hours to get to the rng advance I wanted)
