To put this into perspective - LoL, for example, has got the viewership that VGC won't ever be able to dream of, to speak nothing of competitive integrity, technical and organizational superiority and general maturity of esports. And it's not profitable on its own. The only reason it still exists is that it promotes the game people put the money into, which makes it worth it in the big picture.

That's what matters for the broadcast. People will see those cute Piplups, Sprigatitos and all and will buy them. That and advertising the game, of course. But inceloroar doesn't matter one bit.
