If your shinies have no contest / battle facility ribbons or were obtained in gen 6+ they are worthless and should be released

The ribbons thing is arbitrary but the gen 6+ thing is true, also applies to being caught in B2W2.

Shinies should have never been so ridiculously hard to find for what's essentially just a color swap with virtually no difference in any other regard to stats or abilities and some shinies aren't even worth having to begin with because they're either vomit green, piss yellow or unidentifiable from the original colors. PLA and SV made them rare enough to not see them all the time but not so rare that you would never find one of them and there are still difficult shinies to get/easy to miss. Getting so hoity-toity over something that's so cosmetic and ultimately useless is just pure retardery.
