>appear in a new region
>be guided by an adult who probably has a doctorate and studies some aspect of the pokemon world
>meet two siblins that you fight multiples times in your adventure, one of them eventually acts as the adult's assistant, the other one becomes more antagonic as the story progresses
>travel around while you learn more about the region's tales and complete the dex
>there are eight super trainers to challenge too, basically unofficial gym leaders
>some backtracking into the main settlement to talk to the guy who knows the lore while your friend becomes your rival
>battle against legendary pokemon, multiples ones even
>eventually you get the mascot of the cover and have the final battle with your rival
>later you join an academy, the same one where your friends are studying
>there your rival-friend has become villain, literally bullying others using his position as Champion of a biodome almost as wide as a region you can also explore
>you reencounter your other friend, explore the area, experience some new features
>finally you challenge the Elite 4 and the villain Champion of the academy and win
>the person you meet at the beginning recruits you, her assistant and the former Champion to an expedition to Paldea to reach the source of the gimmick of the game and most of the story of SV
>there the villain-rivals steals the legendary out of you with a Master Ball to beat the crap out of you but the legendary escapes
>you reform the villain and the two of you calm the legendary like good rivals and friends
>post-game includes interactions with characters from SV story and a secret ending with the professor too
>and an epilogue mixing the new characters with the old ones from SV
Do you still prefer replaying the same story with a slightly expanded climax like in the third versions? This DLC had so much story you would barely have to strecht its concepts to get yourself a separate game sequel of SV.
