They’re using its ice powers, not just taking every from it like a battery to power something else with an unrelated power, like in XY. Also, Kyurem literally absorbed Reshiram/Zekrom in the same game, pulling from it being that empty husk previously discussed. For someone who screams that other don’t play the games, you sure as hell don’t seem to know what you’re talking about on multiple fronts.

>but Lysandre’s goalThat’s a thematic similarity, not a functional one. Xerneas/Yveltal’s powers are only used as a power source in the game to power another weapon. Again, if it were regieleki, there would be no functional difference. Meanwhile, that wouldn’t work with Kyurem’s case.
