Cucking Kieran twice would've been incredibly funny, but also repetitive. Letting him catch and it having it backfire on him kept it from getting stale.
No excuses for not giving it more presence in the story though.

Turtle Time got cut short to make people watch the anime. As far as the company cares the games only exist to make new creatures to be shown off in the anime to sell more merch.

ogrepon is so ugly
I haven't played any of the dlc but it just doesn't seem like what I want. I liked swsh dlc and sv themselves, but this stuff just seems way too story focused. Maybe I would like it, but my first impressions are poor.

This would be true if it wasn't for the fact that journeys barely featured any new Gen 8 Pokemon. TPC is perfectly comfortable selling the same 40 or so Pokemon to us every year.

Don’t forget Koraidon/Miraidon. Considering those two and Ogerpon have very clear characters and tragic pasts, you would think Gamefreak would have gone more into Terapagos’s and how it’s (seemingly) the last of its kind, but no. They’re definitely saving the actual story of it for the anime.

Is the DLC worth buying? My team was already level 100, but I'm not looking so much for a challenge than for a comfy story. I don't care about the price, I have money, just tell me if you think it's entertaining and good?

The first part is fun to see the complete 180 both of the characters have done by the end of it but the second part is mainly just battling the Blueberry E4 and your enjoyment will vary based on how much you cared about Kieran in the first part.
Part 2 lets you invite the gym leaders and teachers to your clubroom but it's locked behind a tedious points grind system that you pretty much have to do with other people locally/online to make it bearable.

Seeing Kieran fail to catch it with a master ball was worth. Terapagos role in the story wasn't as a character. It was as a narrative device to show you how utterly cucked Kieran is by the very rules of the game
