>>55129958Well, we are kind of in the same boat, OP. Maybe someday I'll go to /vr/ and ask why this genre is so popular.
As for vtuber content I enjoyed... I only saw a porn animation where a futa black girl fucked a fish loli. I was like "that's hot", and I wouldn't have known it was vtuber based if I didn't read the tags. I also watched a video about the history of vtubing, and I find interesting how something that looks like a afitionado thing (a wanna be internet celebrity) suddenly went from like 4 or 5 girls under a label becoming into an entire section in Twitch.
But I also stay away from it because it feels... desperate? The same video spoke about one of the actresses having an open Discord Call with her GF, and he said something on the lines of "baby, when are you free?", and the chat went harded than the nigger version of a nigger. It's like their fans are fucking gorillas: keep the fantasy on or they will tear everything around them. Also, the company was shit because then they mute the actress for a month, but that's japanese works ethics for you.
Reminded me of that girl on TikTok who did dumb dances while wearing a Bernie shirt, but the moment the word "boyfriend" escaped her lips, their own fans did EVERYTHING to destroy her career. Worst part? They did it. They got her.
