if it were just a metal coat then we would've seen archaludons in galar
requiring a specific alloy to evolve it and only manufacturing that alloy at the undersea plant explains why archaludons arent found in galar

I wonder what would be GameFreak's upperlimit but then I remembered Gen 4 really added 5 useless items that serve to evolve one specific pokemon without any held item secondary effect.
They could've at least made the Magmarizer/Electirizer Charcoal/Magnet Clones on top of their trade evo purpose if they really wanted to sate their "then why couldn't the previous players have gotten it earlier" autism.

The only thing really annoying to me is Alcremie sweets. I don't need two dozen types of the things, just make them purchaseable somewhere instead of clogging up my inventory. Why not at Patisserie Soapberry, Katy's bakery? That's like the one shop you can't buy from in the game for some dumb reason.

like why do these two need evolution trade items? they can be trade evolution if they want but why do they need specific items to do that also why do gligar and sneasel need items to evolve, items that have secondary effects outside of evolution and those two aren't even trade evolutions while Magmar and electabuzz get items that don't do jack shit except evolve those specific Pokémon at least make them boost stats. why was gen 4 so inconsistent with this shit

Fucking battle items, exp/stat items, evolution items, and tera shards share a pocket. That particular pocket is a total mess to scroll through.

The bag has been a shitshow ever since like gen 4 and they don't care. You get like 10 different slots each dedicated to 10 items you never use, and all 500 of the other items just get dumped in the other slot.

What are you talking about... Why would someone make an excuse to one of the most retarded changes in the game lore and continuity? It's really one of the worse changes and could have been fixed with a key item that works as a stone... Moss/ice stone key item, and its done. Same thing for regional evolutions, just create a retarded key item with a description of the home region and allow us to use it to induce regional evolutions... Anyone with problems of too many items just fkin sell them... Easy.

More like 3 since that gen introduced all those shitty incenses, berries, scarves and keys.

I think gen 2 might be the only time the bag was good and usable, since the gen 1 bag was just a fucking pocket that could hold nothing.

all of those things are actually useful and/or have their own slot

gen 4 introduced a bunch of shitty pointless evolution items that only work on one pokemon and plates that are literally just identical to the other type 10% boost items.

Gen 3 doesn't even have half the held item and evo macguffin bloat as gen 4, and it also still had the PC so you could just shove whatever you didn't need into storage out of your way until you actually need it.
