Comments like the OP made sense during SwSh because we weren't sure if the cut pokemon even existed anymore but it's pretty clear by now that just because a pokemon isn't in a certain game, it doesn't mean it's not still a canon pokemon and won't be in future games.

That's what I'm saying. Especially considering DLCs, going by that logic these pokemon would randomly just manifest into existence within the universe as if they had always been there. Which, granted, is how the new Pokémon and especially new evolutions have always been treated, but it would have felt especially egregious if it happened within the exact same game.
