>>55141755, but even if it was, Psyduck/Golduck being Water/Psychic would genuinely make more sense (slightly) than Starmie being Water/Psychic. If you had to change Starmie’s typing, it easily could’ve been pure Water, Water/Rock since it has a gemstone in the middle, or even retroactively Water/Fairy starting in Gen 6. All of these would be worth Psyduck/Golduck being Water/Psychic.
