A version with extra content and polish that should have been in the base game to begin with in exchange for waiting, versus a barely functional game with extra content slapped on.

I prefer the former cause I don't seethe over having to wait.

Zygarde is the only third legendary to do literally nothing and have its initially intended forms cucked to the next generation when they wanted to use them in Z. Same with mythicals. They shoved their planned forms into ORAS because they relied on them being in Z.

They were never intended for Gen 4. That’s like saying Emerald is incomplete without Mega Rayquaza. The Gen 6 forms were intended for use in Gen 6 but were scrapped and reallocated.

Your only fair point, but that’s not an equivalence to Eternal Flower Floette. You know they still make updated sprites and dex entries for it, but it has never been obtainable in any way. Nevermind Arceus where the event was just handled wrong so only a few people got a legitimate, NO ONE got a legitimate Eternal.
