The current director of the school takes pity on their plight and instead enlists the team to act as official battle instructors for all students, allowing Team Star to continue as they please.
Penny herself is obsessed with Eevee and its evolutions, and her team is nothing but Eeveelutions. All of them know Baby-Doll Eyes, because she finds Eeveelutions cute. She's not particularly threatening, but she puts on a chuuni show for the camera because she's supposed to be the big boss of Team Star.
