>>55158795>That is annoying, but most of the stones is via are for the Gen 1 PokemonTrue, but they make such a big deal out of having Gen 1 in the game that it's surprising they would do this
>Hey we got a Bellsprout Tower and nearby you can catch it, you can't evolve it without a leaf stone tough luck kiddo>Hey there's this port where Shellder only appears at, no water stone so tough luck kiddoFeels like I'm being actively mocked.
You can get at least a moon stone with ease in it probably because of the baby eggs including Igglytuff and Cleffa.
>This complaint was always braindead. Gen 2 is the only gen punished for its post game/second act being smaller than the main game.I'm sorry but Kanto didn't hinder it's level scaling and main campaign to provide a "post-game". Johto's post-game, for the most part, has you fight gym leaders that are lower levelled than the Elite 4 and Champion that you just overcome up until Gym 7. I can't really call that a serviceable post-game, when the gyms are all it has to offer and the rest of Kanto isn't worth exploring as there is nothing to find, fixed in HGSS.
Also Battle Frontier isn't a good post-game, it's literally cheating in favor of the NPC to provide an unfair challenge that you face once in a blue moon throughout the tedious, long, 35-70 battle streak.
>level up moves were shit all around for most Pokémon, outside of a small handful of Gen 1 shillmonsYeah, that's why the stat difference between the two regions made an even bigger impact.
>That’s literally every Pokémon game everTrue.
>If anything Johto is less likely to make you overleveled because the wild mons and nonbosses give shit exp due to being much weaker the the bosses.Actually not really, because the level cap is so low (Champion lv50) your EXP gain won't be hindered much up to then.
Think BW/BW2 are the only games with an EXP system that nerf your EXP gain if you're above the opponent level to avoid overlevelling and even those you can 1 Mon solo.
