>This might be the last mainline game on the Switch
... What went so wrong with this console's generations? Only Legends is salvageable and it's a nerfed version of mainline combat because God forbid we got something challenging. DP remake is so bad we tend to forget it ever existed contrasted to every other remake being legendary, or in ORAS case AT LEAST it's considered the best of the 3ds games even if they were lackluster to begin with. Dexcut was a thing. New mons and art style are so ugly I can't even count half of them as Pokémon. SWSH and SV still feel like they're missing something and gameplay is braindead easy, with the worst post-games we've ever had. Graphics were never really amazing and that was the excuse for Dexcut.
Oh, and two games are chibishit, Let's go Pikachu and BDSP, precisely the two remakes they could have used to test the new graphic potency and say
>Remember the old games? Now we made them look THIS amazing!
showing some Revolutions tier engine. No, exactly those were downgraded instead.
The only thing that could salvage the Switch would be Legends 2 in which they make the battle system more complex with all the moves from the real games, or better yet a new mainline entry that introduces the Legends style with more complexity and moves that actually make contact with the enemy.
