Just know if you want physical copies again, you'll have to pay a lot right now. That number will probably increase as more anti-emulationfags will pop up, unless Game Freak & Nintendo do something right and add the Game Boy (Advance) Pokemon games on Switch Online with Home support.

I never use them but you can back up your saves with GB Operator, I don't know if there are but there should be other similar devices.

Which GBA games do you have? I'll buy them from you.

i live in australia so we probably aren't doing that sorry

i have fire-red and sapphire and emerald CIB and a bunch of loose gbc ones

i'm selling them to buy something which i could sell for 5* the value i'm getting it for so is it that bad?

i've never sold anything before but i honestly haven't played these games in over 10 years i even have a stupid ags101 and i can't bring myself to play it

You can play them off a flashcart, but it can be a pain in the ass to transfer up as a result. I'd keep at least a copy of USUM so you can use Bank for Home transfers, and otherwise homebrew your 3DS (if you don't care about transfers, then just homebrew - there's even a homebrew Pokemon Bank that can transfer backwards to Gens 1 and 2)

My old red cartridge still saves but is starting to lose data occasionally
On the other hand I have NES carts that work fine
This probably varies a lot, but I'd consider the fact that this anon has a point

Yes they will, NES games still work fine and they are much older. If they do start failing the ones that survive will be more valuable but you will never understand that.
