The monkeys are the single most obvious example in the entire series of Pokemon who were made to serve a purpose.
They were good at being the first boss of BW, helping kids learn about type matchups, and making it easier to beat said first boss.
But throughout the rest of BW and in every game afterwards, they've been removed from their purpose.
They should've just been different formes of the same mon, tbdesu.
