Not that digital art is a bad thing, but it is a DIFFERENT thing and it's very clear TPC went that route instead of hiring/training new artists to work with watercolor, or at least stay closer to Sugimori's DS era style, to cut corners and save money because the quality of the official art has taken a nosedive the past few generations.
