Rewatching Pokemon indigo league, Man Ash really sucks, his whole nonchalant attitude towards battling and grand "I want to be a master" childish fantasy brainwashed Brock and Misty who had actual real lives and careers and were respectable pokemon trainers/gym leaders to just up and leave everybody and their life to fuck around with Ash who makes them even worse trainers. Misty wouldn't be throwing out Psyducks and crying all the time if she was still head of the gym and with her sisters.
