Even if you received something via GTS it might be unable to transfer in the future if it was injected into the wrong game. I contacted support about it and thye said they'd get back to me with an answer when they could, two months later they told me I had to release the affected Pokemon and that they couldn't do anything about the Pokemon I traded away for them. Most people aren't going to notice until the next game comes out, so there's probably going to be some very funny, very angry reactions to this shit in like two years time.
>>55176909I think stuff inserted into SV is still safe because it can't be certain it wasn't transferred before or after they introduced it. Might not work if they have ribbons that weren't available to them until BDSP/PLA/SV though, not sure how careful they were about that stuff.
