>>55177143You're looking at the wrong anime. The original Pokemon anime is primarily a character of the week anime with a splash of battles thrown in. It's just intended to be comfy. If you want a Pokemon anime that has a more traditional anime episode by episode storyline then watch Horizons. But even then, remember it's pokemon and you're gonna have some cutesy old style episodes here and there
