why are pokémon fans the most stale humans on earth? Imagine if fighting game fans complained that every sequel changed combos and had different mechanics.

They never said they were going to do this, just wanted to see people's opinions on a new type of way to balance gen 9 OU since it was so chaotic, "banning" 10 pokemon would have been the most extreme outcome of it happen. After hearing how people felt they not only didn't do this but decided to not ban a single one of these pokemon.

Imagine still playing comp in 2024. I only played comp in Pearl, Platinum and Y versions. Those were peak comp days. I started with Singles, but switched to Doubles in Y. Doubles is also superior to Singles. But now, with a shit ton of new weird ass gimmicks, I am glad I just play Pokémon ordinarily. Nothing to do with "get good", comp is for teens. I am too old for comp lol.
