Here’s a sketch for convergents of the Slugma line, but Grass-type. I was wondering, do these work better as regional variants or are they fine as convergents?

What it is made of? I imagine it would be made out of leaves and wood while the goo would be yellow like the tree sap.

You should add a little color to these sketches so we can visualize what you're going for better. A pack of color pencils is what, three bucks?

That's a regional, If you want a convergent modify it to a snake

But to be honest it is a nice regional, I would recommend keeping it that way, my only criticism would be to change the shell for a classic coconut with its three holes.
