If you don't like playing by Smogon's rules, don't play Smogon. You're free to play VGC, BSS, Draft Leagues, or whatever. Heck, go make your own ruleset. If enough people like playing it over Smogon, people will drift to it and over time it will become a dominant format. Complaining because you want Smogon, but 1% different is stupid because you're still in their mindset and arguing from their point of view.

If not for those six virgins then there would be another group of six virgins deciding what is "banned" and what's not. If smogon ever wanes in popularity in favor of another singles ruleset, it'll just be more virgin, terminally-online losers making up the rules.

Every time smoggies are told to adapt it's always by some mouthbreather who thinks it's totally worth running a dedicated slot that you wouldn't normally run in order to counter something cancerous that'll steamroll a team if left unchecked. The entire reason this is insane is because it makes the meta unstable as everyone shifts from countering to not countering the specific cancer in question in order to keep laddering. The metagame was fine with Baton Pass and King's Rock Cloyster, change my mind. Why the Hell is stall allowed but not Baton Pass? It follows the same logic, if your team isn't equipped you'll lose.

Well one is a specific move that caused a lot of problems when teams built around it and the other is a general playstyle that's basically been dead since Gen 7 for one thing. Genuinely come up with a better comparison.

Meanwhile teams now have to build around stallmons, which devours a lot of room on the teams themselves that could be used for far better gameplay.

This gen is the only gen where they are not justified in banning things. There are so many offensive threats this gen that they've had to undermine the point of Ubers and make an UUbers. In past gens, a few very ridiculous broken threats that forced the game into shitty 50/50s or trades to see whose broken Pokémon will stay alive longer ended up getting banned as they should have. GameFreak doesn't get balance right, see the fact that Morimoto was surprised people used Aegislash as a special attacker even after it was given the same exact base Special Attack as its Attack.
And even so, if you are upset about this, no one is stopping you from making your own meta and rules and finding people to play in that meta with.
