How can any pokemon waifus even compete, don't get me wrong I love gardevoir, meowscarada, lopunny, etc. As much as the next person but Renamon just does something to me. What's your thoughts?

Ehhh... 50/50. Even if you don't count ultimates and megas, I think Renamon is one rank more than rookie.
I can't remember the rankings, but I think digimons should be compared up to... the equivalent of lever 3/4 in their evolutions.

Its goes rookie/child>champion/adult>ultimate/perfect>Mega/ultimate in terms of a Digimon's lifespan and level. Back in the day, perfects were the pinnacle of Digimon power that were rather freaks of nature. Ultimate level are utterly bonkers by comparison and they're all a threat to the digital world.

Just to put things into context "back in the day" was basically like, a year. The first round of Mega level Digimon were introduced in 98, while the first Vpet debuted in 97. It wasn't a very long period of time.

What? I thought she was a mid/adult evo. Even in the one I played (World DS), she was a champion if you gave Tanemon (Rookie) Light Data.

Renamon is default a rookie and always has been, some games just fuck with levels a bit but the level listed in the DRB always takes precedence as the default if it's available.
